Fleet

Intellitec has a rich 30 year  history of sucsess in developing and manufacturing systems for the fleet and aftermarket sector for both here in the USA and indeed much further afield. Companies and organisations such as Ryder Plc, National Grid, Wincanton Logistics, The Australian DOD, First Bus, Police, Fire & Ambulance services specify Intellitec power management and battery charging systems on there new vehicles.

Dead or flat batteries are still the #No1 cause of unplanned vehicle downtime, this completely avoidable issue can cost the fleet operating company an absolute fortune, it is not simply a case of jump starting the vehicle and asscociated costs. Batteries, alternators and starters can all be damaged by operating at low battery voltage, add to this the cost of a late load and the loss of the asset for how ever long and the bills really start to become alarming.  In 2009 we launched our latest version of our battery protection system, Battery Guard 3000. This is a fully programmable power management and split charging system all in the one module. The system allows the fleet operator to decide how they want the system to operate, if you want audible alarms, visual alarms at different battery voltages it can all be programmed in to the ECU. We can also communicate to your chosen telematics system, so we can warn you when the vehicle is being operated at low voltage.

Justification of expenditure is key, we are fully supportive of this and it was for this reason we built our own free to use cost saving calculator for fleet operators in order to ensure that the system is right for them. Please visit  http://www.fleetsavingcalculator.com/calculator to try it for yourself, if you like the data it provides you then contact us and lets discuss your requirement. Within our fleet product portfolio we have very many different options, remember we build all of our own products, this allows a high level of flexibility in designing new systems to reduce costs and enhance efficiencies.
